St Thomas’ Hospital:
Gassiott House

The project comprised the construction of a new consulting room wing and a glass atrium within an existing courtyard for Guy’s St Thomas’ Hospital NHS Trust at Gassiot House. This contract had a value of just over Five Million Pounds and a construction period of seven months.

The project had numerous challenges including working within an occupied building where the floor below the site area was a children’s crèche and the area adjacent to the work area being the Nightingale Museum. Additionally, there were two other buildings above the site which housed the board management of the Hospital and a 24 hour Accommodation wing for patients and staff.
