National Gallery:
Refurbishment of Gallery A

Works comprised the construction of the first new gallery space to be created for 25 years.

The works were complicated by the fact that the asbestos was not removed prior to the works commencing and our demolition works had to be carried out in conjunction with this.

New services, wall linings, bulkheads, flooring, and a stretched fabric ceiling system were installed all while other areas of the gallery were in normal operation for the public and staff.
