Works included the structural alterations and full refurbishment of the Ground Floor Offices, meeting rooms and TV recording studio facilities at Chatham House.
Via a detailed temporary works solution, the roof structure was altered allowing for new roof lights, roof coverings and a structural steelwork plant deck. This provided a suitable enclosure for building plant servicing the new facilities. A new lift was installed for catering between basement and ground floors.
The delivery team worked very closely with the building users to coordinate all works around the busy timetable of scheduled VIP events and ongoing day to day occupation of the upper floors.
